William J. Namen II, DPM, PA

Ever since he was little, it was a childhood dream of William J. Namen, II to be a doctor. Mainly because he always loved helping people and fixing their problems. Even as a kid, he strived to bring comfort to others, alleviate their troubles and help find resolutions to keep everyone he knew and loved happy. So, naturally, becoming a doctor called to him. As to him, there was no better profession that could fulfill his endeavor to bring aid to others.

Today, as science points to the importance of mobility and the ability to move as a vital part of the overall systemic condition, Dr. Namen’s primary goal is diagnosing, resolving, and helping patients get back on their feet as quickly as possible. In doing this, and by getting to know them, as well as building an enduring patient/doctor relationship, he truly strives to understand his patients and their unique wellness needs. In becoming a partner in their overall health, Dr. Namen finds his greatest achievement and joy through diagnosing their podiatric health issues and working to overcome the challenges to help resolve them.

“I love the entire process. It is fascinating how the human body works and does such incredible things. As a doctor, I get to work with these extraordinary systems,” said Dr. Namen. “For more than 28 years I have built a rapport of care and respect with my patients, and together we resolve their podiatric issues. I don’t see patients as a number on a sheet of paper, and I believe that’s what sets me apart and allows for this enduring patient/doctor relationship.”

Along with doing everything else the specialization teaches, Dr. Namen works from the knee down and is particularly interested in wound care, osteomyelitis, fractures of the foot, neuroma, bunions, and sesamoid bones. He conservatively and surgically treats plantar fasciitis and performs all types of foot and ankle surgeries. Of particular interest is Dr. Namen’s fascination of Osteomyelitis and the surgical treatment of bone infections. Of course, more importantly than surgery is early intervention and treatment as a less invasive option.

“We are always looking to early diagnosis and treatment of issues to affect the best outcome for our patients,” said Dr. Namen. “Our team is committed to exploring the latest treatment options to ensure the patient the quickest recovery whether it be therapy, pharmaceuticals or surgery to get them back on their feet and on the move.”

Indeed, Dr. Namen’s passion and compassion for diagnosis and treatment for a myriad of podiatric issues means he and his team have the depth of knowledge, expert skill and can offer the right care to help you keep striding along.
